A Borske Sklo vase Designed by Miroslav Klinger

I have a collection of czech glass encompassing Sklo Union, Borske Sklo and Chribska. Chribska was part of Borske actually but so successful I erroneously thought it independant, I shall be posting some of it in the next few months as it seems a shame not to. I didn't collect this one, it was a gift. Peter bought it new during a business trip to Prague, somewhere between 1980 and 1983. Up until this week I hadn't known it's designer or maker. I'd seen very similarly shaped vases from ZBS, Borske Sklo, but without the 5cm. hollow rising up into the vase from the base. The vase isn't round, it's sort of ovalish!.
