Picked this up in a cool little local shop today - a good deal & a must have as the decor matches another vase I have in a different shape.
This vase is made from what looks like two layers of spatter glass - a dark brownish - red over deep orange. It measures 22 cm tall, 5 cm across the pinched up, three pointed top rim, & 6.5 cm across the base, which does not have a pontil mark.
There is an applied black coil around the middle.
Fourth photo shows it with a vase in the same spatter decor . Now they are sitting next to each other in my Tango cabinet.
Czech origin, 1920s - 1930s era.
Looks so hot, I can almost hear it sizzling!
