Hello everyone!!
Another cast iron dog doorstop that I recently acquired. This one is a Boxer and was made by Hubley in the early 1900's and was cataloged as "Boxer" #307. This one is unpainted, but I have another that still retains most of it's original paint (pic #4). Though he's unpainted, he's still quite a nice example of the artistic craftsmanship of Hubley's line of products. As you'll see in pic #2, he's a two piece design held together with a single screw. These Boxers carry a fairly high value, even unpainted. He measures 8 1/2" tall and 9" long. He weighs just under 4lbs.
Thanks very much for taking time to stop in for a look!!!
