This 2" bright goldtone brooch has orange rhinestones in what I see as spiderweb design, so can only imagine it might have been an autumn/Halloween 1950s offering from Bogoff jewelry (1946-1959)

Scott thanks for your super comment, yes this spiderweb shape & orange color are great for Halloween! We had a pretty quiet one this year but are looking forward to visiting with my stepdaughter & her family in a couple wks when they come up from Florida, we'll have a nice pre-Thanksgiving
Love the chatons and cushion cuts to the rectangular stones which make this a subtle but stunning masterpiece !~
