Hello everyone!
After posting the jockey bookends I was reminded of this little cold painted bronze jockey. He's French and was made in the late 19th century. He's holding his crop and leaning against a fence awaiting his horse.
From his facial features to his boots, he's perfectly painted. Though he's got a chip of paint missing here and there, he's still a very nice example of the craftsmanship from that period of time. He stands approximately 3 3/4" tall and 2 1/4" at the widest point.
Thanks very much for taking the time to stop in for a look!!
