    This vintage thermometer promotes Gibbons Beer and Ale. The Lion Brewery, which brewed Gibbons, is still operating, though its Gibbons' products have been discontinued.

    This 33.5 by 9.5Cm thermometer probably dates from the late 40s-mid 50s. Its base is of steel, the paint is still strong, the graphics are in good shape, and the thermometer is working accurately.

    It is a real beauty, and is a fine representative of breweriana.
