This recent acquisition promotes The Jacob Ruppert Brewing Company which was located in NYC. Sadly, the brewery folded in 1965.
Colonel Jacob Ruppert was the son of the founder, and besides being a brewing giant, he owned The Yankees, raising them to greatness under his ownership.

Here's a 1949 Ruppert advertisement:
