    Brookfield Glass Insulator

This is a small insulator about 4" tall, probably a telegraph insulator.

The interesting thing about this one.. There's a XO on top. From what I understand there were teams of people producing insulators in a shop. These numbers were a way to keep track of how many they made. Brookfield would produce 3 or batches at a time, so you may have XO, X1, X2, etc.

Another interesting thing is opposite the Brookfield, there is 5 embossed circles. Not sure what that means? Reaching out to insulator forum to ask.

So interesting..apparently (I've been told by collectors), that the embossed circles originally said AT&T and were blotted out. From what I found, AT&T contracted glass makers such as Brookfield to produce insulators.

      Here's an interesting link..
