Here is a 5 x 5" blue opaline glass floral dish with lid of a hunting dog sitting on a fringed crisscross pattern blanket. Made by Portieux Vallerysthal of Lorraine France, with 'Vallerysthal ' imprinted inside dish. Design ca the 1930s

The color used here is so very beautiful! Love the dog topper!
I have never seen this one illustrated, particularly fine example !~
Splendid.
Many thanks for the love all, I am truly grateful
DejaVu, Phil & Dean, thanks guys for your fabulous comments! I am so glad that you all appreciated this quality piece, the Portieux Vallerysthal line is truly elegant. The aqua color is also called (by PV) robins egg blue milk glass, and I really love that stretched out dog on the blanket, he looks 'king of the hill' up there :)
