Here is a 4"H amber glass elephant that was part of a series of window glass animals made by Pilgrim Glass of Ceredo WV in the late 1960s-early 1970s w/ orig label on the bottom. This elephant was item #917, and was a deleted post (in green) by my CW friend Kevin-kwqd

Phil thank you for your terrific comment, it did look beautiful in the avocado green that Kevin showed. It also came in other colors incl red, cobalt blue & emerald green. It's a very pretty elephant pose
Tilted, yes, lucky with the trunk raised, and also a lucky find for me! One of the few Pilgrim animals I didn't have in my collection, mainly because it had already been posted here by someone else. I'm sad that Kevin took down all his posts, but now if I find some of his great glass animals I can buy & post them. Thank you for your marvelous comment
