Palace Size Sevres Vase

I call this vase Palace Size as it is 40 inches high, or 101 cm high. This one came from Edward Mirvish who owned a large city block of Restaurants. This is the second Sevres Urn that I bought. There is a picture in a book I owned that showed Ed in front of the vase talking to a celebrity at the restaurant. Ed also owned many high end antiques and I mean enough to fill all the massive restaurants. They all seem to have been in the same district. Close enough to walk from one to another . They were massive ! The scene is all hand painted and beautiful on a cobalt blue background. These items were never meant to be sold but after 3 almost 5 decades now they were doomed to close . The second photo shows the vase in my home in situ !~
