This was a super win on eBay AU for a reasonable price.
A large shallow bowl with a slightly incurved crimped top rim, in a light yellow - green glass with an iridescent finish & a frit decor. It measures around 6.5 cm tall, 21.5 cm across the inner of the top rim, 18.5 cm across the base, & an impressive 73 cm girth around. There is a polished out pontil mark underneath. I wonder if this bowl may have once had a metal stand, though it displays perfectly well as it is.
In perfect condition.
Bohemian origin, circa 1900. Sold as Loetz, but I’m not sure. Maybe Kralik or Rindskopf?

I like to hold my glass, I think the feel of the shape is as important as the colour, frit adds another dimension :)
I so agree with your sentiments, Bernard, texture is a big part of glass appreciation for me, too. I’m a big fan of frit, crackle, & overshot decors, among many other creative ways of achieving interesting textures in glass!
