Hello CW friends
For upcoming Labor Day I thought you would like seeing my Manpower appreciation award from the 1980s. Manpower was/is an employment agency that (at the time) specialized in temporary workers, and except for a few permanent office jobs, I mainly worked as a Manpower typist at various companies when they needed extra help, my specialty being medical transcription. This surprise award was presented in a blue Tiffany box (who made them) & I was quite pleased to receive it

I'm not surprised that you won this award with your kind and caring personality! It's a beautiful token of appreciation. Congratulations!
Many thanks to you all for the love, and enjoy Labor Day weekend
DejaVu, thank you so much for your wonderfully kind comment, I'm really grateful to be thought of in that way :) It certainly was interesting work, always meeting new people & learning about different businesses...not only doctors and hospitals, but any co. that used a dictaphone. It's a rather obsolete trade today since the advent of AI but it was nice for me at the time
Thanks so much for the love
