Here is a 3"H blue glass grouse that was part of the World Wildlife Fund endangered animals series of the 70s-80s made by glass artist Paul Hoff for Kosta Boda Sweden. Etch signed on the bottom, in limited edition

The icy blue color is outstanding as is the pose!
The modelling is wonderful on this grouse, and the blue suits this masterpiece. Getting on this site and staying on has been the biggest problem the last week !~
Now, this is definitely something you won’t see often. This glass grouse is BEAUTIFUL Jenni!!!
Many thanks for the thoughtful love everyone, always gratefully appreciated
DejaVu, Phil & Scott, thanks so much guys for your wonderful comments
DejaVu, it's a beautiful pale blue color isn't it, and this happens to be my last WWF glass animal, I've got about 95% of them and only missing about four that are mostly sold in Sweden, the prices, shipping & tariffs makes international buying impossible right now
Phil I agree, it's a beautifully made grouse by a master glass art who had a great eye for nature, I love his animals. Oh this site, such problems the past couple wks, it's better but like you say, it often sticks and you find yourself closing & reopening to move on. One thing I find faster: go to the Categories box mid-page, say mine is Animals, you hit that & posts seem to open up faster that way. I think we are overloaded with TMI here, posts go back almost 20 yrs, they should condense them or something
Scott it's a very unusual bird right - the only time I saw grouse was on a menu in a fancy NYC restaurant, & no I did not order it lol... now seeing it's such a pretty bird, glad I didn't!
Truly grateful for the love guys
