Here is a photograph I picked up the weekend. I was hoping that one of our military friends on here could help me identify the ship. I assume it is a military ship, there is what appears to be sailors on board.
I apologize for the poor quality of the photo, however, it was somewhat faded to begin with and I was shooting through glass.
I realize there is not much info to go on.
Anything help appreciated.

I believe it is a Landing Craft Infantry (LCI). According to the US Navy site it was part of the Lend- Lease program and was exclusively used by the British Navy after delivery in JAN 43:

Yes-- it looks much more like the Buckner.
The "P" before the numbers is also a good indicator.
