c.1910 doorbell. Most of the old doorbells that I have seen like this have a knob on the outside that you turn to make them ring. This one instead has a spring loaded lever that you pull up on. When you lift the lever far enough the spring releases and the bell produces two sharp clangs that can be heard clearly anywhere in the house.

AWSOME Bro, I have a long time friend that has a 1900s house too. His Dad was a collector of antiques & now he has all the old stuff in the house. Haven't talked to him in a long time. He even has Lynburg's Original Organ in the living room. The house is FULL of antiques!!!
