The Telechron Electrolarm is most common in a "walnut" bakelite case, with limited production in ivory and pistaschio green "Vinylite." Most have fluted brass trim strips. This example has tri-tone wooden trim. Although never pictured in Telechron advertising, there are enough of these around with this exact wooden trim treatment to suggest that this was not a do-it-yourself retrofit, but a factory option. The brown version with brass trim strips typically had a brass bezel as well. There were three dial styles offered.

Introduced in 1929, the Electrolarm was the first Telechron clock with an alarm, and it may well have been the first self-starting electric alarm clock ever. It was NOT designed by Paul Frankl, but likely in-house by Warren Telechron staff.
