    This pitcher and glass were given to me by a 91 year old friend. She said it had previously been her mothers. Her mother came from Italy as a young woman and lived in New York City prior to moving to Texas.
    I love glass, especially colored glass and the way light shines through it. I know little about vintage glass. In my research efforts I found the pattern to be daffodil. I think the pattern is a Northwood pattern. I don't know if other glass makers used this pattern. The pitcher is 10 inches high.
    I would welcome any information that helps me learn more about these pieces.

      This is a beautiful set and you are correct, this does appear to be Daffodils by Northwood Glass and the color is blue opalescent. This shape is one that was harder to find, as most that I see are the rounded shape, and I'm not too familiar with Northwood; but I was able to find a matching pitcher in green opalescent glass:
