This are Biedermeier earrings (Biedermeier is German about 1815-1848)
which I bough very longtime ago in Germany. They are made of yellow 14K gold and have very nice beautiful dark Bohemian garnets.
The fittings were very difficult to handle from the back of the ear to the front site so I let them changes as you can see on the photos . Because I know myself when I let them be as they were I never wear and that's not where they are for (anyway in my opinion!).
I like them very much and they match beautiful with my other antique Garnet jewelry which are very much to obtain in this region of the world.
