This vase is 6 inches tall with a base diam. of 3 inches. The base is concave with a snapped pontil and it has a rim of six crimps. I bought it years ago, because I love spatter on a plain ground. I'd not seen anything similar until recently when Czechman posted his sumptuous vase, but nevertheless similar in size, colour and spatter.
Even so I still discounted the idea that it could be Kralik, until I thought to check my Kralik Harlequin vases and they have snapped pontils too. (I'd thought Kralik stuff never had pontils!) So, have I found a name for my orphan, or not?
