Grammatina - I post a lot of stuff online for sale. Someone once told me - describe your items as if you have no pictures, or as if your audience is blind.
The more information you can provide helps.
Celiene, I went to a mind reader but she wouldn't tell me anything, because she already knew I wasn't going to pay her.
Thanks for the help! First, I found it buried in dirt in an old abandoned log home we just purchased in PA. It is very heavy and the legs are detailed with spiral designs. Several other pieces of glassware were found by it, but I have no idea how to date those to clue me in on this one. Surprisingly, there are no chips or scratches, so maybe the didn't use it a lot? Other clues could be that it appears to have a side seam only to the top until the glass border ring on top. I apologize for my ignorance here, I really don't collect antiques, but my aunt said this was a good place to get an idea on what period it might be from? Either way, I really appreciate your interest and help!

1880! Some had etched face & handle. Some were all clear.
Wish I had this one, if you put it up ever for sale I am waiting.
So many people here buy houses or furniture and then find amazing things left behind! I'd LOVE to buy a house with contents included!
