I'm curious about the use of this small (about 6 inches tall), metal pitcher and when it is from. I'm assuming it is U. S. A. Army Medical Corps related.

It looks like it once had a handle, but that is long gone and the holes have been sealed up. It also seems to be a pitcher inside a pitcher, as photo 3 shows.

I am by no means an expert here but I just have to say, I don't think anybody actually drank out of that, in fact quite possibly the opposite. I dunno. Maybe the one inside the other was so it could easily be emptied??? Just sayin"

Share, are you trying to say that you think it is a "Peter Pan'?

Looks like a regular pitcher to me, baring the Army Corps piece.

Theirs must be slightly different as mine has no maker's mark, but that helps.

      Thank you, Dizzy Dave.

Dave has it-- these are insulated to keep the water cool.

Would this have been used in America-based army hospitals?
    9. scottvez scottvez, 8 years ago
Yes-- don't know that it would have been exclusively stateside used.

      It is a bedside pitcher.
