This vase was bought in a thrift shop on a half-price sale day. I think it is a Harrach vase from the Historismus period. I asked Alfredo Villanueva and Warren Galle about it and they thought it my well be early Harrach 1860-1870.
It looks like two Etruscan/Roman/Pompeian/Greek musicians done in blue, green, white and cream enamels on an opaque brown milk glass. The foot is flat with no pontil and has a painted 11 (slightly rubbed) in black. The gilding on the base has been rubbed. It’s about 29 cm high.
I really like the fine enamel work on this vase which I think is similar to the work of the English firm Richardsons.
