Very pleased to add this to my collection, a cameo glass vase by Loetz for the French market signed Richard.
Made to order for Edmond Etling, to be sold in his boutique shop on the Rue de Paradis which is still! today renowned for its boutiques, selling glass, china and porcelain
Three colours acid carved down from the very dark brown (Braun) to the Camelienrot ground and a light olive green between the two, seen in the leaves.
Standing 11 inches tall, in perfect condition..I just love it!.

Beautiful inky! That certainly took some skill to produce, but...the base looks too clean for a 95 year old vase?
Sammyz..it’s hard to show the ware on the base I have changed the phot to show on a different angle..it as a “guesstamet’ ..am very happy to change the date and know.. if you can give me an idea..it’s my first Loetz cameo so still learning about them, I was going on an average of others I’ve seen..thanks for any help.

the Aussis will know if this an real Etling release, they got the catalogues, i am not skilled enough , there are an awfull lot of fakes

apostata… I am very wary of buying cameos for this very reason, and did do a lot of research before purchasing but you still can’t guarantee and had all my fingers and toes crossed but thankfully I have it verified by multiple Loetz collectors..
