Finally brought in the V80 today after having a ton of fun in the shop trying to get the paint right. Was only originally doing a mild paint restore, flashing in some rough spots here and there. Turned into a bigger job(as per usual), with a near full paint on the exterior. Kept the original white top on the front with the orig. lettering, to give it that "bin around awhile" look.
Thanks to "Funtronics "for the resto stickers and trim pieces that were missing, they were awesome to deal with.
Now time for an "ice cold one"!!Cheers!

Oh Man that baby is sweet Bernie!!!! Gotta get me one of those!!!!! (Maybe "next year" :) Looks awesome in your piece of Coca-Cola heaven there. It belongs. Fantastic job, congrats.
Awesome job Bernie!
Michael
Nice. And no major dents or scrapes on this before the new paint job? Although I'm a big restoring fan, this type of restoring is great because you didn't add any pin-striping or Spriteboy decals not normally found on these machines. Good job "weekend at Bernie's." Way to stay true...
I meant to say "I'm NOT a big restoration fan..."
Very Nice Bernie you did a great job!
Thank-you Dave, Michael, Ray, & Trevor for the nice comments!!
I did buy the big 10C sticker Ray,just in case, but decided it did'nt need it once it was together.
The blacked-out lettering on the chrome was the only "custom" touch!
Keepin it real!!
Bernie, I think you did it just right my friend. Fantastic job and I know you must be proud of it. You should be.
Thank-you Perry for the kind words!
love it
Very nice work Bernie!!! It reminds me that I need to get moving on my projects, LOL.
Bernie,
Very nice looking machine. Love that the white was in good enough shape to keep original. I am personally a fan of the 10 cent decal. Not so much on the Sprite boy or the "coke in the hand" decal. Personal preference though. One word of advice if you decide to add a decal, make sure to use a vinyl one and not a water release style. The clear portion of the water release will yellow over time and be very visible. I think the Funtronics version is vinyl so you should be good. Nice looking machine and great looking room!
Thank-you Tommy, Amy, Jamie,& ilikecoinop for the kind words.
Thank-you all for the love, much appreciated!!
