As I promised Jericho, this is the Lötz "pulled tango" we have in our collection. Here are his (http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/56651-loetz--pulled-tango?in=user) and I think ours match the yellow/orange one perfectly, even the shapes are reminscent of each other, and the "black fingers" looks just alike in both cases.

When Carlos bought this vase the only thing he knew about it was that there was one with a simmilar decor in the Torsten Bröhan glass collection. This vase in green coloured appears on the catalogue of the exhibition in the Cooper-Hewitt Museum in New York "Glass of the Avant-Garde from Vienna Secession to Bauhaus - the Torsten Bröhan Collection from the Museo Nacional de Artes Decorativas, Madrid" (page 35). The vase is dated in 1908 and is attributed to Eduard Prochaska. Here it is: http://ceres.mcu.es/pages/Visor?AMuseo=MNAD&Museo=MNAD&Ninv=CE25197&accion=4

Our vase stands 15'5 cms. tall and its diameter is 20 cms.

If anyone knows more about these vases, we'll really appreciate it.

Yes yes yes! I am as happy as bruno on dancing with the stars!!! Although i Don't think prochaska. this is later than 1908 but i may be wrong (i hope i am)

We are also reluctant about the 1908 thing... unless this was a precedent for Tango it doesn't really fit in 1908. As we know, experts can be wrong! As for the Prochaska thing, they can be wrong too.
