I got the 8' by 10' sign on a building I bought. It was painted over with latex paint and I'm currently in the process of cleaning it up. Anyone seen anything like it?
1948 made in Lynchburg VA. It's in two pieces and it called a "Sprite"

It's called Sprite Boy. A near mint condition sign recently sold for $2,000 at an auction. But unless you have a lot of wall space to display this monster sign, these aren't highly sought after by collectors. Still a great discovery....

Wondering how many more of these signs (and other old signs) are still attached to sides of building and painted over. Gotta start looking at older building in more detail. There could be many more "hidden gems" out there.
