I didn't measure it but I think it is not bigger than 3 inches. It is in perfect condition and the colours are absolutely beautiful. When I got it from my great-aunt about 40 years ago, it still had a sticker on the bottom but the sticker fell off and I don't remember what it said.

Thanks MacArt! It does look pretty much the same. The time-frame makes sense too, because of the age of my great aunt and the fact that after 1945 items from Italy were no longer available in East-Germany. :)
