The seat has been cut to the shape of the original my daughter painted the fiber board seat I was careful to put the tacks in the same place as the original ones.

I love the rocker & I love the seat, but somehow the two don't seem to go together, is this how the original was? Seat looks too bright and colorful for the rocker, I would think just a rattan seat or cloth?
