This is a small but very pretty German Jugendstil/ Secessionist brooch in geometric motif very typical of the Darmstadt style and the Pforzheim designs of Franz Boeres. The centre is decorated with what seems a blue stone with red inclusions. It is unmarked but it is made of silver. Circa 1900.
