Picked up 3 pieces today for £1.
This was one of them - an old wood & brass fishing reel roughly 3 1/4" round!! Lovely patina , cant see a make , think it may be an old fly reel !!
Still spins ok ...

Ho yes they are expensive, it's really not for long they are collectable.
What happen they being through in the garbage, so they are Scarce, and price when up like crazy, hold down to it, great piece, I love it
