We got this Cheverolet Dealer sign back on a trip to SC as we were already in NC and heard about an auctioneer that had some porcelain signs he might sell us. Turns out he also had this nice Cheverolet Dealer porcelain/Neon sign over his fireplace and offered to sell it to us. It's a beauty but we really don't have a great place to show it off at aaaLakeside storage so it just sits on a wall inside the Antique Sinclair Service Station with the Antique cars in it and waits for people to notice it. Alas, the fun was in the hunt!
You do know that this is a reproduction?I would hate to see someone pay original prices for a repop!
We had a pretty good idea it's a repop, but even repops are very expensive & we really don't collect neon, but his was available and we were there so we got it. What to do with it is the question now? It is on a wall inside the Sinclair Station at aaaLakeside storage with the antique cars and some other very nice stuff. We do have a few repops but not many, as we don't collect them. It's all in the hunt for us????
