I have always been drawn to these open salts by Monot & Stumpf but not the price but I happen to come across this one at a reasonable price so I bought it. Monot Stumpf was produced at the Pantin Glasshouse in Pantin, France the same factory where Mont Joye glass was made. 4 cm high, diameter 5 cm

I have had a few of these over the years. The glass quality is really quite exquisite. Some of them bear a resemblance to some of the Tiffany Pastel salts and bowls and are often sold that way.

Great addition to your collection.....and as always.... great pics!!
