This is a fantastic collection of traditional (round heads & cylindrical bodies - sometimes the heads "cry" when you move them) style & "maiko" (trainee geisha - those with buns & red kanzashi in their hair) style kokeshi. If you look up traditional kokeshi you should be able to find out which regions they're from. Each region has a specific style of painting (eg. colours & type of flowers).
You also have at least one Ejiko doll (representing a baby in a basket) which in your case seems to open & have smaller kokeshi inside. These can sell for quite a lot on eBay. I also notice a few "babysitter" dolls and even some with dolls in their heads which I've never seen before (unless they are candle holders??). You also have at least one boy/girl pair (probably the most common form of Sosaku or creative kokeshi dolls). A friend in when I lived in Hokkaido used to buy up collections of kokeshi at flea markets/yard sales etc. I wish I could find them now I'm back in the UK!

Think the ones with holes in their heads are toothpick holders...
