So this little bug brooch was in the bottom of one of those grab bag thingys, got some other good stuff in the bag, and I like this one too, but it does have condition issues. Think it's a beetle bug? 1 1/4" in length. No marks. Missing the rhinestone that would have been the head/top half of the bug. Gold plating nearly all flaked off. But that delicious violet glass slag jelly belly, slightly scuffed, makes the piece worth at least a little admiration. Thanks for looking.

NO WAY !!! I brought home a little rhinestone (amber) insect brooch today too! I wonder if they are from the same bug family? LOL
