I bought this heavy little purple vase just 2 days ago. Unfortunately my camera is not bringing out the rich purple colour as well as I hoped. It's 3 & 1/2" tall, and 4 & 3/4" wide and has a pattern I have never seen before. It kind of has the weight and feel of a big old glass insulator. No base marks and is just a mystery to me.
Is it more puce, royal, or cranberry purple?
It's pretty purple when I hold it up to my light. I can't really see the cranberry hue that we see in the photo with my naked eye. I'll take a shot at it in the daytime light tomorrow and see what we can do with the image problem. I'd appreciate your feedback cuz I might be colour challenged in reality. Thanks Spiritbear.
I edit almost all of my pics for colour, detail, etc. My camera doesn't take pics of the same colour I see. Most will not.
I'm guessing it's closer to puce rather than cranberry or royal purple.

Try black amethyst glass.
