This is a weird ACL (Applied Coloured Label) bottle.
The pop (soda) brand is still around, as it has been since the 1920s. A LE8 1, or A Late One. This bottle is dated 1959.

Apparently, it is "For Bracing Pep" and "It Glorifies."

    This is Kentucky's oldest still-extant soft-drink.

I had an Ale 8 1 in my collection once but it did not state it "clorifies". Interesting and cool. Thanks for sharing!

      Oops I meant "Glorifies"

Do you know what year it was?
    4. bottle-bud bottle-bud, 8 years ago
I sold that bottle many years ago, I am guessing it was a mid 1960's bottle.
No city/state was mentioned on the bottle.

This one will stick around my ACL collection for a while and will some day either end up on 'the bay', as some bottle collectors call it (others call it 'flea-bay'), or a yard-sale.
