In regards to the Unknown Banjo I posted -- here are just some more pictures. Those Notes dots look to be Mother of Pearl. The tuners on the side have some simple design on them. Still have found no markers of anything. Thanks, here are extra pics...............

I recently purchased a similar Banjo in Guangzhou, China. In fact the butterfly hand rest is almost identical. The name Romance (R) is located both on the head and base of the neck.
The body also has cut away design on it's back, although mine has a different pattern..
I am trying to determine if the fret placement is accurate, as it produces an odd combination of scales.
