    Here are two pasters of The UPRR's Challenger series of locomotives. Built by ALCO, they were very durable engines. The stats on the cards' reverses show how ALCO's mechanical engineers tweaked the performance with succeeding model number.

      Hi, fort…truly impressive. There are some YouTube vids that feature such engines! They give a good idea of the locos majesty, but I'm sure that seeing and hearing it in person would be nothing short of amazing!
