Since I can only post four images, I thought it was more important to show the side rather than the reverse. I got out the loupe and there are layers of cinnabar so it does seem authentic!

Beautiful! It seems good.
The clue is to look inside with a light, if red too... resin, if metal or dark... cinnabar!
