This is a pressed steel trash can that is only 3-1/2 inches high. I believe it to be a store counter display but could be a salesmen sample, about the same either way.
I love this type of stuff but it doesn't come up for sale very often.

I've seen a lot of salesman samples, but never a sample garbage can. I'm totally amazed with this!! Very nice!
