I just found this in an "anything in this box 25c" at Brooklyn Flea.

Saw another that was identical, including backing except for the portrait - it's the one with bearded man. Now I'm hoping to learn about the manufacturer /jeweler as they could be same .

Planning to look closely at the clothing and try to determine the circa.

It's kind of melancholy to have come into possession of this piece because he was obviously cared about enough to have been so memorialized.

In his honor, I'm playing "Some Mother's Son" by The Kinks.

The shirt collars are long. The brooch clasp and length of the pin are also clues. I'd date this to the early 1900s. Not possible to find out the name of the manufacturer as the pieces are unmarked.
