We bought this wonderful pair of figural vases a few weeks to Dorita Ferrari. They are marked under with a single capital letter a S incised indicating they were made by Scheibe-Alsbach http://www.porcelainmarksandmore.com/germany/thuringia/scheibe-01/index.php. They have some missing parts as one of the feathers of the woman hat and so we considered they were not cheap. They are about 35 cm tall and the pair is wonderful a man going to play tennis, probably on grass because they are dressed as if they represented a couple on a Sunday of about 1885.
