Picked this old pay phone up today. It has no markings anywhere as to manufacturer. The coin box has apparently been broken into. The cover for the mouth piece is missing. I just liked it when I saw it. Anyone have any info on this as to age and maker?

Your model 23 J pay phone was manufactured by Gray Telephone Pay station Company of Hartford, CT. This pay phone style was in the 1913 Gray catalog.
with the newer type handset on yours it would have been produced in the late 1920's to the 1930's.
