Smokey is the photos once again but is blending in with the dark background. This is a Queen Helmet shell which is Cassis madagascariensis, a very large sea snail. Found in the western Atlantic and Caribbean area.
The unusual point about this is the wide skirt on the bottom of the shell. This example is 9" long and 6" tall.
