Old cap gun with 12 cylinders. I bought this from a car boot sale in East Sussex England. Tried it without caps and it works but the trigger misses sometimes. A good clean up and it would make a great exhibition piece. Not sure of the era it was made, or where. It has the letter D on one of the sides. Regards Sean.

Looks like a starter's pistol. They were used at track and field meets before electronics.
