Though not a collector of Rookwood art pottery, when I spotted this amazing "light bulb" advertising ashtray the company made for General Electric back in 1949 I simply "had" to have it (sigh...).
As you can see in the last pic both the G.E. logo and the Rookwood logo (plus date of manufacture in Roman numerals) are clearly impressed in the bottom.
It measures 6 1/2 inches long by 5 1/2 inches wide, and is in excellent condition.
