The Long Awaited Bison Bones aka Buffalo

Matchbox Monday will be posted be posted late Monday night so do not panic. Just picked up a little something which will make it ever so much better.
In the meantime these are the bison bones which had a sneak preview last week. I believe they are the upper front leg bones. Also shown here are my cattle pelvis and rib. I had another rib or two but apparently one of the local fauna ran off with it.
These bison bones came from our local rock shop. He got them from Elmer of Elmer's Bottle Ranch on Route 66 so there is a bit of provenance for everyone. Elmer actually has a place up here I found out. I'll have to have Elmer over some time.
I usually call bison buffalo myself. Bison is not quite as bad as Apatosaurus for unpopular snobby terms though.
