I picked this Vintage Egyptian Revival Buckle up in a thrift store type place in a small town so it was inexpensive. I don't know if it's 10 years old or 100 can someone please enlighten me! Either way I love it and I'm planning on getting some velvet ribbon for the belt part.
    Thank you for your time:

Have been collecting Egypt for many years. I haven't come across this and yes, I would love to have it :-) My guess is 50's-60's because the old 1920's Egyptian items were truer to original designs and didn't usually stamp symbols, plus the round hammered repoussee shapes were a popular technique working with sheet metal in the 50's. I love it though!

Could that shinny spot on the upper right side on the back be a from where a China sticker was? Just noticing! Very neat buckle though! :^)
