I really love Mexican Silver and so I had to add this brooch to my collection. It is very well made and weighs over 30 grams.

    Thanks for looking:)

HA HA, Mary. I will try this on my husband - but to see if he goes shopping with me for more. By the way, I envy your Bakelite and Native American collection! It's so hard here to find these pieces, even for high prices.

Sorry, Mary for getting back to you so late. My son and his wife welcomed a baby daughter and she stole all the attention for the last weeks.
I love your Bakelite watch! I have never seen one here at all, ever! When the weather is better I will go again to antique markets and search for treasures but even in more fancy places there was almost no Bakelite to be found for any price. I guess I have to expand my "hunting grounds".
I also really like your Mexican bracelet. It is so typical Mexican in design! I guess that's the reason I like it. It looks also very solid and that's what makes it wearable. I need sturdy pieces because I always hit, scratch, break, lose... my jewelry!
I have been watching a few Native American pieces on line as well but the nicer ones are really very expensive. If they come from the States, the shipping, taxes, and duties make it even more expensive. My husband got me two bangles last year here in Canada but I am not sure if they are the real thing. I will post them soon.
      Gudrun
